Patriots quarterback Tom Brady and defensive lineman Richard Seymour, citing unspecified injuries, withdrew from the Pro Bowl Friday. Chiefs quarterback Trent Green was added to the AFC roster replacing Brady.
It is the second selection for Green, who also made the AFC team after the 2003 season.
Green threw for 4,014 yards and 17 touchdowns this season, completing 62 percent (317-for-502) of his throws.
Steelers nose tackle Casey Hampton will replace Seymour.
Hampton, in his fifth season, also played in the Pro Bowl following the 2003 season.
Hampton missed all but six games of the 2004 season with a knee injury, but returned this season to make 44 tackles and force one fumble.
